Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday conducted an aerial inspection of the disastrous accident site at Nigulsari in Kinnaur district. During this, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the NDRF and the district administration are working tirelessly to rescue the people trapped under the debris.

The rescue operation has been stopped for the last one hour due to the continuous falling of stones from the hill. The CM said that the government would give Rs 4 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident, while the injured would be given Rs 50,000 each. The Chief Minister said that the government is with the families of the victims and all possible help will be provided to them.
On Wednesday, five vehicles were badly crushed by a big mountain. About three dozen people came in the grip of the accident, out of which 13 bodies have been recovered and the same number of injured have been rescued and sent to the hospital. How many people are still missing, how many are buried and how many have lost the battle of life, no one knows.
