Vikramayaditya Singh sworn as 123rd King of Bushehar princely Estate

Shimla, July 10

Vikramaditya Singh was crowned as 123 king of Bushehar Estate today with royal tradition while  the body of Virbhadra Singh was lying near by in Raj Darbar of Padam Palace in Rampur. He was handed over the throne of the estate.

The ceremony was done in the closed room while the royal priests performed the rituals of the coronation.

During this, the king’s princely state resonated with the sounds of traditional folk instruments.

Since morning, thousands of people reached for ‘Antim Darshan’ of Virbhadra Singh. Apart from Shimla, Kinnaur, Mandi, Kullu, people from all over the state reached to attend the last rituals.  Chief Ministers Jai Ram Thakur and many veteran leaders also reached Virbhadra Singh’s funeral.

Over 20 thousand people participated in the funeral procession of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. The administration and police have made arrangements for this.

The administration has taken various steps to maintain safety and traffic orders.
