Congress district president demanded resignation of IPH minister

Hamirpur, July 05

Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh had insulted teachers who were serving in tough situation of corona pandemic and he had no right to remain on the seat. This was stated by Rajender Zar president of district congress committee here today. He said that BJP leaders had lost decency and were misbehaving repeatedly. He said that the reminded the instance of cabinet meeting in which the minister had altercation with chief secretary.

He said that the minister should resign from his position otherwise chief minister Jai Ram Thakur should mend him.

Rajender Zar said that the government in the state had failed on all fronts including corruption, price hike, unemployment and development. He said that the district was facing acute water shortage and people were forced to buy water tankers to meet their requirement. He said that congress leaders and workers had helped people in corona pandemic while BJP leaders were only busy in making false claims on the services provided through government exchequer.
