As per the notification of the government of Himachal Pradesh, all religious places including temples, monasteries, Gurudwaras and Churches that were closed in the second wave of Corona are opened for devotees from today after nearly two months.Being the first day, huge number of devotees thronged at major temples like Naina Devi. Jwalamukhi, Kangra and Chamunda. Yet at many religious places the number of devotees was limited.
Inter state Bus Service restored
Devotees were allowed to offer only dry prasad, no kind of pudding is allowed. There was complete ban on Havan, yagya, Kanya Pujan, Kirtan, Langar and ringing of bells in religious places.
On the other hand the state government undertaking Himachal Road Transport Coorporation (HRTC) started its services from the state to outside states from today. The drivers and conductors were given strict instructions not to allow passengers the buses without masks. Apart from this only 50 percent occupancy was allowed in the buses in order to maintain social distancing.
Under Graduate Final year examination held
Himachal Pradesh University conducted final year examination of graduation students today. The college administrations had made arrangements in order to follow covid protocol like social distancing and sanitization. While, wearing a mask, thermal scanning etc, was also emphasized.
