Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur condoled the demise of martyr Rohin Kumar of 14 Punjab resident of Galore Khas of Nadaun Subdivision. Rohin sacrificed his life for the nation and attained martyrdom following ceasefire violation by Pakistani army on the Line of Actual Control (LaC) in Punch sector of J&K.
The CM said that Martyr Rohin Kumar had demonstrated great courage towards his duty. He was a true hero who set an exemplary legacy of valour and supreme sacrifice, he added.
Prem Kumar Dhumal Former Chief Minister paid tribute to martyr Rohin Kumar. He said that country would be indebted for the supreme sacrifice of gallant soldier. He prayed for strength to the family of the martyr to bear the loss. He also paid tribute on the demise of Amar Singh former chief minister and member of Rajya Sabha.
Anurag Thakur MoS for finance and corporate affairs said that Rohin Kumar had made supreme sacrifice for the nation. He said that his sacrifice would be remembered forever.
National President of BJP Jagat Prakash Nadda also sent condolences to the aggrieved family. He said that the sacrifice of the martyr would not go in vain. He said that Indian Army would give a befitting reply to the cease fire violation from across the Border.
President Rajinder Zar of DCC, Anil Verma Vice President of DCC had said that the martyrdom of Rohin kumar was a gerat loss not only to the family but to the district, state and the country as well.
