Socializing of BJP leader led to covid scare in Hamirpur

When government was promoting strict measurer for social distancing following corona virus pandemic, the former MLA from Nadaun was socializing even after being sampled for corona virus.

Significantly, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) vice chairman and former MLA from Nadaun was tested positive for corona virus on July 26 while his sample was taken on July 25. It was learnt that he roamed around in the town after his sample was taken as he suspect signs of the virus. It was reported that he visited a book shop, had tea at a restaurant and went to garment shop too. It was learnt that he also a marriage function and went to pay condolences in a house at Hamirpur

After being tested positive the Former Nadaun MLA Vijay Agnihotri said in his Facebook post that he was tested positive. He appealed to all his recent contacts to go on home quarantine themselves. Pertinent to mention that he had participated in a function organised to mark the Kargil Day at Kangoo. Over 50 persons reportedly participated in the function on Sunday.

Meanwhile district administration had sealed all three shops in the town where he had visited. Harikesh Meena Deputy Commissioner said that all primary and secondary contacts of former MLA would be tested for corona virus. He said that all premises where he had visited were sealed and would be sanitized.
