Hamirpur, May 21 (QNN)
31 persons were tested positive in the district today taking the tally of total covid patient to 51. As many as Four patients were cured and one had died due to corona virus while 46 were active cases in the district as of now.
Out of total 31 cases that were tested positive today, 26 had returned from other states while one of them 21 year old was son of a civid-19 patient who had returned from Mumbai.
The persons tested positive today included a woman aged 45 from Amned and her son 21 in Bhoranj Subdivision had returned from Mumbai on May 18 and were in Institutional quarantine. While three others tested positive were from Hamirpur sundivision included a person 63 years old from village Dhgnera (Jhaniyara) , 51 year old from village Sunwin Saloni and 21 year old from village Balh and was primary contact of person tested positive from village Gwararu who had returned from Mumbai.
Two persons from village Hatali and three from village Gwalpathar were also tested positive today all these five had returned from Mumbai.
Other six tested positive included a 75 year old person from village Dugha returned from Jallandhar, 44 year old village Harminder 67 year old from village Kaarada, 43 year old from village Changar Kulehra and 41 year old from Village Jiyana returned from Mumbai. A 34 year old person from Hatwar in district Bilsapur was under quarantine at Deotsidh in the district was also tested positive.
Four more Mumbai returnees tested positive were included a 45 year person old from village Kashmir, 63 old from village Bhalat, 22 year old from Chanbal and 18 year old from village Chalbola.
In latest bulletin it was reported that 11 more persons in various quarantine centers in the district were tested positive for corona virus. More details were awaited about these 11 cases while this file was updated.
