Third death due to Corona virus in the state, first of Hamipur

The corona virus pandemic claimed first death of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh today. A 52 year old corona patient from village Hatli in nadaun Subdivision of Hamirpur district died today taking the death toll due to corona virus to three in the state. Notably, two patient had earlier died in the state including one each from Kangra and Mandi. 
Significantly, the covid-19 patient from village Hatli was under treatment at RCH Bhota after he was tested positive for corona virus on May 9. The patient was being taken to government Medical college Nerchowk after his condition turned critical but was declared dead at the Medical College Ner Chowk.
The deceased had come to his village Hatali in Nadaun Subdivision from Delhi on May 06 and was tested positive for corona virus on May 09. He was earlier admitted to Medical and hospital at Hamirpur after his sample was taken for corona virus test. He was shifted to RCH Bhota after he was tested positive. The death had spiked fear in the medical college Hamirpur, where he was kept under isolation before being tested positive. He was working as helper with one sweet shop in Delhi. He was survived his wife and two children.
Deputy Commissioner Harikesh meena confirmed the death of the corona patient. He said that he was being taken to the LBSG Medical College and Hospital at Ner Chowk but doctors there declared him dead. The body of the corona patient would be cremated tomorrow as per the SOP, he added.
The total Number of corona patients had surged to 76 with three deaths, 35 active and 38 recovered. The district wise covid-19 patients include Kangra 18, Una 18, Chamba 12, Solan 9, Hamirpur 7, Bilaspur 4, Sirmour 4, Mandi 2 and Shimla 1
