Shimla: Swine flu has started spreading in the winter season. In the state’s largest hospital IGMC in the capital, PG doctor was stirred up after getting symptoms of swine flu. However, no information has been provided by the hospital management about the doctor who got swine flu. A doctor suffering from swine flu is undergoing treatment at IGMC and his condition is stated to be stable. IGMC’s M.S. Dr. Janak Raj confirmed that P.G. Reports of swine flu have been positive in the doctor doing it and his treatment is underway. At present, the condition of the doctor is improving. He said that the hospital administration is on alert regarding swine flu and precautionary preparations have been made. A separate Isolation Ward has been made for this.
It is worth mentioning that this is the second case of swine flu in the capital Shimla this year. Recently, a seven-year-old child had swine flu. This disease is more common during winter season. Last year there was a stir in the state due to the presence of many cases of swine flu in the winter season. Two ministers of the state government and former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh also came in the grip of swine flu. Symptoms of swine flu include cough, cold, body fatigue, chills, headache etc.
