India’s COVID tally crossed 14 lakh Mark with 50,000 new cases

With a single-day jump of 49,931 corona virus cases, India’s corona virus cases climbed to 14,35,453 on Monday, while recoveries tally surged to 9,17,567, according to Union health ministry. The death toll in the country had rose to 32,771 with 708 fatalities being recorded in a day as per the updated at 8 am.

There were 4,85,114 active cases of corona virus infection in the country, as 9,17,567 patients had recovered and one person had migrated. The recovery rate stood to 63.92 percent.

According to the ICMR total of 1,68,06,803 samples were tested up to July 26.  The highest in a single day 5,15,472 samples were tested on Sunday. Notably, Maharashtra has reported 3,75,799, cases followed by 2,13,723 in Tamil Nadu, 1,30,606 in Delhi, 96,298 in Andhra Pradesh, 96,141 in Karnataka, 66,988 in Uttar Pradesh and 58,718 in West Bengal.
