Borewell punctured Railway tunnel

The bore well drill has reportedly punctured a railway tunnel being constructed between Bhanupali in Punjab and Bilaspur today. It was learnt that a villagers in Kot village of district Bilaspur tried to rig a bore well for water requirement and it punctured the tunnel roof that was passing beneath the bore well. Madan Lal said that he had consulted the authorites of railway construction company. He added that even the chief manager of the company had visited the site before he started boring the well.

Meanwhile an FIR was registered against the villager on the complaint made by the construction company. Rakesh Anand public relation officer of the construction company said that Madan lal has not discussed with the company before drilling the bore well.

Pankaj Rai deputy commissioner Bilaspur said that a bore well drill has damaged the tunnel and an FIR is registered against the villager. He said that he had scheduled a meeting to review the incident. He added that both parties are called for the meeting on Monday.
