Governor Bandaru Dattatraya had raised issues with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh related to border areas of Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts with China. He urged him to strengthen network system in these areas.
In a letter to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh the Governor requested him for personal intervention.
He also requested Defence Minister to deploy dependable and robust communication network in border villages of the State and to make adequate arrangements to track movement of drones from the Chinese side.
Governor said that about 240 Kilometer of Indo-China border falls in two districts of Himachal Pradesh including Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti. In view of the prevailing tension along Indo-China border a keen observation was utmost important on border movements, he added.
