The Himachal Pradesh government had decided to impose complete lockdown in four COVID hotspots in the state till the July 28.
The areas that would remain sealed till the 28th of this month were Dadahu area of Sirmaur district and Govindgarh Mohalla of Nahan district where around 122 people tested positive in last few days. Other areas included would be Baddi, Barotiwala and Nalagarh areas of Solan district.
The Lamba Thatch Gram Panchayat of Mandi district would also remain sealed for two days so that contact tracing could be carried out there. These areas became the hotspots after number of cases spiked due to violation of protocol norms during unlock-2. Meanwhile, to check spread of COVID 19 cases, the government had decided seven days mandatory institutional quarantine and COVID testing for labourers coming outside the state.
